The name Gauri is associated with Goddess Parvati who is Lord Ganesha's mother. The fast that is referred to as Mangala Gauri is one taken up by a married lady, the word 'Mangala' referring to something auspicious. These women take up the fast as a prayer to the Goddess for marital bliss and the long and happy life of their husbands and children. The vow is taken over a span of four Tuesdays during the month of Shravan.

Jai Santoshi Mata Aaarti in Hindi
Goddess Santoshi Maa is considered to be an incarnation of Goddess Durga. Devotees of the Goddess Santoshi Maa believe that by praying to Her the family is blessed with peace and prosperity. It is also believed that when in a crisis one should pray to Goddess Santoshi Maa to seek Her help to get through that crisis.

Goddess Saraswati prayer Ya Kundendu
Goddess Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge and wisdom.. Her blessings are invoked by devotees and, even today, in many parts of the country on the first day of school. The Goddess is associated with the colour white, which stands for tranquility and calm. The Shloka here is a prayer to Goddess Saraswati to invoke Her blessings.
