Nanaparimal Durva Aarti words in Marathi

Nanaparimal refers to a variety of fragrant flowers ('Nana' means variety and 'Parimal' means fragrance). Durva is considered to be a sacred grass with three blades and is offered during various pujas, one of the most important of which is  during the worship of Lord Ganesha. As per a mythological legend, Lord Ganesha destroyed a fiery demon named Anlasur and to cool the Lord, some sages placed 21 Durva on His head. Ever since it is believed that offering Durva to the Lord destroys one's sins. The collective noun for Durva is 'Patri'. During the worship of Lord Ganesha, in addition to the 21 Patris, including the leaves of the Shami tree, a variety of fragrant flowers is offered, especially hibiscus, others being roses, jasmine, ketaki, parijaat, etc.
